It’s the most wonderful time of the year, snow has started to fall and festive spirit is already all around.

Although snow isn’t a given, one thing that can definitely be promised is a magical time on board the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway’s Santa Steam Specials.

Every year KWVR run their Santa Specials, inviting visitors to join them for an enchanted journey on one of their iconic steam locomotives for a heap of festive fun when Santa Claus comes to town.

The Santa Special can be joined at Oxenhope, Haworth or Keighley Stations for a ten-mile return journey, lasting around an hour. Once on board, Christmas spirit will overwhelm you as the specially decorated coaches and festive music get you in the mood for the holiday season.

As the steam billows out of the top of the locomotive against the beautiful, wintry West Yorkshire landscape the magic of Christmas will truly come to life as Santa and his pixies visit each and every child on the journey delivering gifts, whilst ‘bigger kids’ enjoy a seasonal drink and mince pie.

The hugely popular Pixies Pantry Café and Winter Wonderland display will be available in the Oxenhope Exhibition Shed and will add even more sparkle to a wonderful family outing.

Tickets are already sold out for some of the days, don’t delay and make this year’s Christmas a memorable one with a magical ride on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway.
