For one of the most exciting days out in Yorkshire, look no further than Go Ape Dalby Forest.
Daredevils and thrillseekers have been flocking to this stunning forest on the edge of the North York Moors National Park for the past ten years to experience Go Ape’s exhilarating hill-to-hill zip wires which crisscross across the trees above a plunging valley below.
With the highest platform 35m off the ground and the longest zip wire 250m, visitors can unleash their inner Tarzan and will be rewarded with spectacular views across the Vale of Pickering.
To celebrate their tenth birthday, Go Ape are offering free entry to ten-year-olds this weekend with a paying adult as part of their weekend-long celebrations.
All they have to do is present their proof of age when arriving at the cabin. They’re also offering 20 per cent off any activity using code DAL20VIP.
If heights aren’t your thing and you’d like something a little more sedate but equally as thrilling, then take a ride on a Segway through the stunning forest trails – it’s the perfect place to gaze across the Moors.
There’s also a tree top junior course, aimed at giving six to 12-year-olds the opportunity to explore the canopy and give them a day out they will never forget.
