It has been a tough year and many of us have had to spend months away from our loved ones.

Anniversaries, birthdays and countless other events have passed without us being able to enjoy the company of those we hold most dear. Even with the lifting of some restrictions for a few days over Christmas, there will be many, many people unable to spend this special time of year with family and friends who mean so much to them.

So, now the season of goodwill is upon us, we are offering readers the opportunity to send a short public Christmas greeting to those they won’t be able to be with at Christmas.

The messages will be published in The Yorkshire Evening Post newspaper in the run-up to December 25.

All you need to do is fill in this simple form and we will do the rest.

Just tell us your message in 50 words or less, who it is for and who it is from.

Please ensure you use full names, not nicknames. We will also need your contact details. We will not be able to publish any message sent without this information.

You will need to send your message by 11pm on Wednesday December 16.

So, don’t miss this chance to say a public thank you, love you or miss you to those special people in your life.

And let’s all hope that life gets back to normal and we can get together with our family and friends in more normal circumstances in 2021.
