Feast at Malmaison's Bottomless Brunch.

Bottomless Brunches - everybody is doing them in the city it seems. But maybe not quite like this.

The latest one to land in Leeds launched last Saturday at Malmaison.Yep, the boutique hotel is perhaps not the first to spring to mind when it comes to bubbles and breakfasts and it is true that there is not a baked bean in sight at this one.

However, there is beer, prosecco, gin and tonic and as much of it as you want to quaff in three hours (also longer than what seems to be a standard 90 minute feast).

Prosecco is plentiful.

You are greeted in the bar area of the hotel that has welcomed celebs from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers to the boys from Made In Chelsea and sat in the recently refurbished Chez Mal bar area where the drinks are lined up and waiting.

The set up is quite relaxed and informal and given you have three hours there is time to chat and chill before the food feast that awaits.

Unless you are straight from the gym and starving. And it was just that.Unlike other brunches where get a few small plates to share, this is a help yourself buffet from the chef’s table, and as many times as you like.

Choices on the chef's table.

For the sweet tooth a crepe station does the trick with toppings from Nutella to cookies and Haribo. It is only running on Saturdays throughout summer but serves to put Malmaison on the places to go list in Leeds.
