HUSH Bar Leeds: VIP Launch party for influencers and sports stars at new membership-only bar that bans social media

HUSH is a new member's only 'VIP' bar located via a private entrance.

Situated in Hirst's Yard, the bar is above Mook and next to The Dollhouse.

The intimate new bar is described as having a "modern backdrop with hints of opulence and glamour", after a £100,000 refurbishment.

It has space for just 70 people and offers members private booths, table service and a private dancefloor.

The venue also operates a no social media policy to ensure "what happens in Hush, stays in Hush".

The bar will open this weekend, with what has been described as a "carefully curated guest-list".

The team behind the bar have so far gifted 100 exclusive gold membership cards to a carefully handpicked selection of Leeds glitterati, including sportspeople, TV personalities and influencers.

The concept is the brainchild of Stephen Clark from MOOK bar. Mr Clark said: "The VIP bar concept is certainly nothing new in Leeds, however, HUSH offers so much more than your average members-only bar and has already caught the attention of the Leeds elite.

"In a world where social media rules, privacy is more precious than ever and that's exactly what our members will receive - bespoke nights out, tailored to their every desire, in a space where they can let their hair down”.

To access HUSH, members must contact an exclusive VIP concierge line to make an advance booking and can bring up to five guests at a time.

Application requests for black membership cards will be available at the club, allowing successful applicants the opportunity to pre-book a table at HUSH.

The venue will be open Friday and Saturday’s nights until late.
