HSBC closes Chapel Allerton bank in Leeds leaving customers three miles away from branch

The HSBC branch in Chapel Allerton has closed down.

The branch, located in Harrogate Road, shut down on Friday May 28.

Customers will now have to travel more than three miles into the city centre to access their nearest HSBC bank, located on Park Row.

There are now only four remaining HSBC branches in Leeds - in Horsforth, Cross Gates, Morley and Park Row.

Alternative banking provision is provided at Post Offices.

The nearest post offices to the closing HSBC bank in Chapel Allerton are on 64A Harrogate Road, 223 Stainbeck Road and 2-4 Chandos Gardens.

Each of these branches offers banking services - including deposits, free cash withdrawals and balance checks.
