Memories from the season Leeds United returned to top flight football

Manager Howard Wilkinson spent heavily on building a team capable of thriving as well as surviving in the First Division during the 1990/91 campaign. Sgt Wilko brought in two £1 million signings - John Lukic and Gary McAllister - as well as Chris Whyte from West Brom for £450,000 And what a campaign it proved to be as the team finished fourth in Division One, reached the semi-final of the League Cup as well as the Northern Final of the Full Members Cup.
