Changing Leeds - 27 photos of City Square through the years

It's the Leeds city centre landmark triangle where six roads meet.

Infirmary Street and Park Row, Boar Lane and Bishopsgate Street, and Quebec Street and Wellington Street all lead to City Square. It was bombed by the Lufwaffe during the Second World War and is home to The Queens Hotel as well as the iconic Black Prince statue, who has been pointing the way since 1903. Enjoy these photos from the YEP archive which showcase the changing face of City Square over the years. READ MORE: The Dark Arches in 19 photos | 20 photos of Vicar Lane through the years LOVE LEEDS?
