These are the 13 Leeds areas with the most new Covid-19 cases in the last seven days

There were 1,016 new Covid-19 cases recorded in Leeds in the seven days to September 25, according to Government figures.

That's equivalent to 128.1 cases per 100,000 people, up from a rate of 90.4 in the previous seven days to September 18. Government data breaks down the city of Leeds by Middle Super Output Area (MSOA) - a geographic measure of approximately 7,200 people. These 13 MSOA areas have been identified as Covid-19 infection hotspots, with the most new cases confirmed in the seven days to September 25. The figures are based on tests carried out in laboratories (pillar one of the Government’s testing programme) and in the wider community (pillar two). Pictures are for illustrative purposes only.
