The Leeds areas with the worst Covid infection rates as Tier 3 restrictions confirmed

Leeds will get the toughest Tier 3 Covid measures when the national lockdown lifts on Wednesday, the Government announced today.

People living in Leeds cannot meet socially indoors or in most outdoor places with anybody they do not live with, and hospitality venues will remain closed except for takeaway and delivery. However, the rate of Covid infections in the city is currently falling day-by-day, with the average infection rate now down to 273.2 new cases per 100,000 people. But some Leeds neighbourhoods remain as areas of concern, with the infection rate at more than 480 new cases per 100,000 people in 17 areas of the city. Here are the worst-affected areas of the city in the seven days to November 18, the latest available figures. Images are for illustrative purposes only.
