Lockdown is gradually lifting in Leeds and across England - but there are some areas where coronavirus cases are still rising.
And although case rates have predominantly fallen across the country, concerns are growing after cases of the Indian variant doubled in a week.
It is now the dominant strain in the UK, one expert said, and there are fears the roadmap out of lockdown could be threatened by the new variant.
The latest figures show Leeds had an infection rate of 39 new cases per 100,000 people in the seven days to May 27, the latest available figures.
