West Yorkshire Police officers found the three men in the car on Monday.

Officers "dealt" with the men.

The Roads Policing Unit said they were "amazed" by the incident.

The team said: "The driver of this vehicle has totally amazed me.

"He lives in Manchester, picked a friend up near Manchester and has driven to Leeds to pick a further friend up to go and get food.

"All three persons have been dealt with. This so serious stuff people. #socialisolation THINK!!"

Earlier in the day, officers from the RPU team said the roads seemed busier today, despite the lockdown measures.

They urged people to stay at home if the journey isn't essential.

An officer said: "The roads certainly do not seem as quiet today.

"Please folks Stay at home if your journey isn't essential.

"It really isn't difficult and yours or someone else's life could be spared by doing so.

"Let's fight the spread of this virus together."
