A Leeds pair who drove a 100 mile round trip to the seaside to get some 'fresh air' have been reported for overtaking a tractor.

North Yorkshire Roads Policing Unit stopped the occupants of a vehicle on the A64 in Rillington.

The driver told officers they had 'come for a drive out to the seaside for some fresh air from Leeds.

The driver was reported after being spotted overtaking a tractor on solid white lines in front of a marked police vehicle.

The pair were both reported under coronavirus restrictions.
