Weather forecast for Leeds:

Leeds is forecast to be hit with rain this afternoon as the wet weather makes its return.

Starting off as a bright day with some sunny spells, dark cloud will take over the skies as we head into the afternoon.

Rain is forecast from around 11am to 1pm and then again at 8pm and 10pm.

Restaurants, pubs and beer gardens are currently only allowed to operate outdoors and have been in luck with the weather since reopening on April 12.

It has stayed dry in Leeds over the past couple of weeks, and today’s rain follows a trend of sunny weather and bright blue skies.

The coronavirus rate in Leeds is following a ‘stable’ weekly downward trend

The latest coronavirus rate was published on Sunday as being at 45.8 cases per 100,000 people.

This is at a positivity rate of 2.1 per cent.

The rate had fallen from 46.4 cases per 100,000 people on Saturday.
