At 11am on Friday, First Bus workers will stop working for one minute to pay their respects.

Unite regional officer Darren Rushworth said: "First Group bus workers from West and South Yorkshire will stop work for one minute on Friday at 11am in memory of those workers in the bus ‘family’ who have unfortunately lost their lives to coronavirus.”

It comes after communities up and down the country joined the Clap For Carers at 8pm on Thursday, the same day the government announced that lockdown rules would be extended for a further three weeks'
