The latest Covid infection rates for every Yorkshire area as Leeds and West Yorkshire move to Tier 3

West Yorkshire is moving into the most severe Tier 3 Covid alert level from Monday.

The county will join South Yorkshire in the Very High alert level, with the strictest lockdown measures in place. Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire will move into Tier 2 from midnight on Saturday, while York remains in Tier 2 and North Yorkshire in Tier 1. These are the latest Covid infection rates for every local authority area in Yorkshire, listed from highest to lowest rates. The figures are for the seven days to October 25, the latest data available, and are based on tests carried out in laboratories (pillar one of the Government’s testing programme) and in the wider community (pillar two). The rate is expressed as the new number of new cases per 100,000 population. Pictures are for illustrative purposes only.
