Here are the only Leeds areas with less than five weekly Covid cases as infection rates rise across city

The Covid infection rate is rising quickly in Leeds - but some areas are less affected.

Across the UK, there has been a 79 per cent rise in one week in cases of the Delta variant first identified in India. The increase across the UK is being driven by younger age groups, many of whom have now been invited for a vaccination as the jab rollout extends to anyone aged 18 and over.

Leeds recorded an infection rate of 179.2 new cases per 100,000 people in the seven days to June 14, the latest Government figures available. That's up 79 per cent from the previous week.

But some areas have been less affected by the rise in cases. Here we reveal which Leeds neighbourhoods recorded less than five new Covid cases in the seven days to June 14.
