Police conducted a traffic operation on Stanningley Road in Bramley on Thursday.

More than 100 vehicles were stopped and checked.

Two coronavirus related warnings were issued to people who breached the restrictions.

Speeding motorists were also stopped and warned.

A spokesman from the West Yorkshire Police - Leeds West team said: "Officers from NPT Team One conducted a traffic operation on Stanningley Road, Bramley, this morning.

"Over 100 vehicles were stopped and checked.

"Two COVID-19 warnings were issued for activities in breach of coronavirus restrictions and words of advice was issued to motorists regarding speed along the road."
