There have now been 117 coronavirus deaths in Leeds hospitals according to statistics.

The death toll from coronavirus in Yorkshire has increased by 55 according to latest figures.

The figure of total deaths for the region has now passed 1,000 - with a total of 1037 deaths related to coronavirus according to latest figures.

The Department of Health says a further 888 people with COVID-19 have died in hospital bringing the total number of deaths to 15,464.

The amount of new deaths for each region are:
