Coronavirus confirmed cases in Yorkshire rise by almost 400 in new figures

A total of 392 new cases have been revealed, with the figure for Yorkshire cases rising to 2807.

There are now 47,806 confirmed cases in the UK.

The highest number of confirmed cases in Yorkshire is in Sheffield where the total figure is 833.

The total cases per area are:

Barnsley - 200

Bradford - 185

Calderdale - 89

Doncaster - 137

East Riding - 88

Hull (Kingston upon Hull) - 31

Kirklees - 185

Leeds - 296

North East Lincolnshire - 43

North Lincolnshire - 51

North Yorkshire - 243

Rotherham - 202

Sheffield - 833

Wakefield - 153

York - 71
