The deaths were confirmed by figures released by NHS England on Tuesday, December 8.

Four people died on December 4.

The current coronavirus death toll in Leeds hospitals is 617.

Three people died in hospital in York.

The confirmed death toll in Yorkshire hospitals is 5,153.

A further 325 people, who tested positive for Covid-19 have died in England.

Patients were aged between 42 and 101 years old.

Date of death ranges from 5 November to 7 December 2020 with the majority being on or after 4 December.

The total number of confirmed reporter deaths in England is 42,904.

NHS England publishes the number of patients who have died in hospital and tested positive for COVID-19 in England.

Since Tuesday, April 28 NHS England and NHS Improvement also reports the number of patient deaths where there has been no COVID-19 positive test result, but where COVID-19 is documented as a direct or underlying cause of death on part 1 or part 2 of the death certification process.
