Best of Health Awards: Winners to be revealed

THE top health workers in the region are set to be revealed.The Yorkshire Evening Post Best of Health Awards take place today, recognising the people who make a huge difference to the lives of our readers.From doctors to nurses, dieticians to mental health workers, the awards will highlight the amazing work going on across Yorkshire.Winners will be revealed at the awards lunch, sponsored by Sovereign Health Care, which is being held at the Queens Hotel in Leeds.Nicola Furbisher, editor of the Yorkshire Evening Post, said: 'Every year we are stunned by the calibre of entries and this year was no exception.'We wanted to hear about those health workers who have had a huge impact on the lives of their patients and we weren't disappointed. 'Some of the stories were so moving and we were impressed by every nomination.'Anyone who is shortlisted should feel incredibly proud.
