There are plenty of school holidays still to come before the academic year is out, so here is a quick list of dates for your diary.

It is worth noting that academies, free schools, foundation schools and voluntary-aided schools get to set their own term calendars which can differ from the one set by the local authority, so you’ll also need to contact them directly to find out what the holiday dates are.

However, these are the official term dates for Leeds schools in 2020.

Summer term

Summer term starts – Tuesday 21 April 2020

May Bank Holiday - Thursday 7 May 2020 until Monday 11 May 2020

Summer mid-term break - Friday 22 May 2020 until Monday 1 June 2020

Summer term ends - Monday 20 July 2020

Autumn term

Autumn term starts – Monday 7 September 2020

October holiday – Monday 26 October 2020 until Friday 30 October 2020
