Author meets writers of the future

Leeds children's author Jason Beresford inspired young readers on a school visit.

The former Emmerdale director, who is also a primary teacher, played his ukulele and led a superhero-themed writing workshop at Belmont Grosvenor Preparatory School in Harrogate.

“It is a pleasure coming to visit schools like Belmont Grosvenor, which is just brilliant at finding books for their pupils that help unlock a child’s potential and inspire, rather than just getting children to just read the more traditional options,” said Jason, whose books include The Fabulous Four Fish Fingers and sequels Frozen Fish Fingers and Fish Fingers vs Nuggets.
