The author, who lies in Halifax, visited three Leeds East Primary Partnership Schools this week, attended by pupils from five of the partnership’s schools, which are celebrating all-things reading with library visits, storytelling workshops and book competitions.

Grange Farm Primary School headteacher Jo Geary said: “Tom provided inspiration during our book week for the reading work we have been involved in across the five schools.”
