But reopening schools will be even harder at the thousands of sites which were already overcrowded, education unions have warned. Figures from the Department of Education have revealed which primary schools in Leeds were overcrowded in the academic year 2018/19. These 12 primary schools were overcapacity by the highest number of pupils:
