Yorkshire schemes provide boost for Morgan Sindall

MORGAN Sindall, which has a number of schemes in Yorkshire, has posted a rise in half year revenue during a “challenging” period.

The group’s operating profit before amortisation and exceptional operating items was £15.5m, compared with £15.2m in the same period the year before.

Revenue was £1,152m, a 15 per cent increase over the same period last year.

Morgan Sindall is on site and close to handing over The University of York’s new £9.9m Environment Building which will house the University’s Environment Department and the York Environmental Sustainability Institute. The three-storey development at the Russell Group Institution’s Heslington Campus will include almost 4,000 sq m of office, laboratory and teaching space, along with an auditorium housed in an oval rotunda.
