Snozone ski slope in Castleford Xscape announces reopening plans

A popular ski slope in Castleford's Xscape has announced plans to reopen.

Snozone Castleford is a venue for skiing and snowboarding indoors on real snow slopes - based in Xscape.

The ski slope has been closed since lockdown.

However, following new government advice, the slope has now announced plans to reopen.

In a tweet, Snozone said: "Following Friday’s announcement, there has been further review and the Dept of Culture, Media and Sport have now verified via Sport England that Indoor ski centres can now open.

"Therefore, we are delighted to announce that we will now be opening on Friday 7th August at 12pm."
