The firm is relocating two Leeds offices on Oxford Place and York Place into larger premises on Wellington Street, which have recently been completely refurbished and new air conditioning, LED lighting and showers installed.

Initially six members of Adair Paxton’s team will be based at the new office, which will open in mid-August 2020 and will be headed up by Adair Paxton’s directors Simon Dalingwater and Nicola Thompson.

The company’s city centre team specialise in residential and commercial sales and lettings as well as providing a range of property and block management services.

Simon Dalingwater, from Adair Paxton, said: “Moving to 60 Wellington Street gives us a fantastic shop window directly onto one of the busiest and most sought-after streets in Leeds city centre’s main business district, so it’s an exciting move.

“Its prominent, central and highly accessible location is the perfect base as we continue expanding both our residential and commercial client base, particularly in Leeds city centre, whilst embarking on our next phase of growth.

“This move also demonstrates our belief in Leeds city centre’s property market. We have thought long and hard about this investment, given the disruption caused by Covid-19, but the city centre remains a superb place to live, work and enjoy leisure time in, and there’s no doubt the market will overcome and find ways of working through these current challenges.”

Adair Paxton has a long history in Leeds and last year celebrated its 160-year anniversary.

The company now employs a 35-strong team and has additional offices in Horsforth and Adel.
