A new care home with specialist dementia facilities has opened in Pudsey

A new residential and dementia care home promising residents “the highest possible quality of life” has opened in Pudsey.

Hutton Manor has space for 86 people and features specialist facilities designed to stimulate the memory of those suffering from dementia.

Residents also have access to a cafe, a bar, quiet lounges and a hair and beauty salon.

Each room has been fitted with an en-suite wet room.

The site, in Crawshaw Road, is owned by Burlington Care, an organisation spanning 18 towns and cities across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East.

Richard Hoggart, owner of Burlington Care, said: "I'm enormously proud of Hutton Manor and the high-quality accommodation and the team we have recruited to support Helen, our

experienced Manager.

He also hailed the impact the care home, which is set to employ 100 people, will have on the local community.

He said: “This project will have a positive impact on the local community and economy as it will deliver important services and a significant number of jobs.

“We are now looking forward to welcoming our new residents.”

Burlington Care already looks after approximately 1600 people within its 26 care homes, as well as offering home services care to another 200 people in their own houses.
