Leeds United fans could benefit from new car parking near Elland Road

Leeds United fans could soon benefit from more than 200 new car parking spaces on home match days.

Engineering firm Sulzer Bros UK has applied to turn its staff car park on Manor Mill Lane, Beeston, into “a public paying car park for when football matches are being played at Elland Road”, according to Leeds City Council’s planning website.

Public comments can be submitted to the application by Thursday March 19, and the council could decide whether to approve, reject or refer the plan to another department by Wednesday April 15.
