Here is the full list of winners from the Yorkshire Property Awards

HULL’s Fruit Market and Channel 4’s new headquarters in Leeds were among the winners at an event which celebrated the region’s finest property developments.

The two regeneration schemes triumphed in the The Game Changers category, alongside Quarry Hill Campus in Leeds, at the Yorkshire Property Awards organised by Variety, the Children’s Charity.

The annual event, which was held virtually this year, celebrates the achievements of businesses in the Yorkshire commercial property sector.

The winner in the office deal of the year category was the letting of 3150 Thorpe Park to SharkNinja, while the letting of Logic Leeds to a major global retailer was voted industrial deal of the year.

The investment deal of the year was the sale of 7 and 8 Wellington Place in Leeds to Legal & General Pensions Limited and the best innovation project trophy was awarded to York Biotech Campus.

Emerald Headingley Stadium triumphed in the constructing excellence category while Tom Hodgson of Pudney Shuttleworth was voted the sector’s rising star.

Charlotte Farrington, Regional Development Director of Variety, the Children’s Charity said, “As well as congratulating all of our winners, I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has rallied behind Variety in a time of great need.

“Earlier this year, Variety saw all income streams dry up overnight but when we called, the property sector responded. Together, they raised a tremendous £120,000 to enable us to continue our important work.”

The Leeds-based law firm Addleshaw Goddard, was the headline sponsor.

Bruce Lightbody, a partner, at Addleshaw Goddard said: “The quality, drive and vision of our region’s real estate sector has never been so important.”
