The Japanese restaurant group has upgraded its conveyor belts which will now carry all food and drinks straight to diners, cutting out contact with staff.

Customers are encouraged to take a picture of a QR code on their table to order and pay for food using a digital menu on their phone.

YO! Sushi's menu will include its popular sushi rolls, katsu curry and gyozas, as well as new dishes such as tuna and avocado tartare.

Delivery and click-and-collect options will also be available on Deliveroo.
