This new Leeds burger bar famous for its rainbow bread is offering takeaway during lockdown

This newly opened epic burger bar in Leeds serves its burgers in rainbow bread and is open for takeaway during lockdown.

Following its success in Hull, Dope Burger has opened a new burger bar on Tong Road in Leeds.

The new Armley location is open seven days a week from 12:30pm to 9pm for takeaway collection.

Orders can be placed from the huge menu on the Dope Burger website, and it even features a rainbow cheesecake bagel with butterscotch or chocolate for dessert.

The wide-ranging menu also has vegan options, and all meat options bar hotdogs can be made using Halal meat if specified.

A spokesperson for Dope Burger said they jumped at the change to step into their new Armley occasion, and they serve smash patties using only fresh local steak sourced from local farms and ground fresh daily.

They added: "We feel it's more important than ever to support local in these times so working with local Yorkshire farmers and local chefs is our bread and butter."

The Leeds store opened on January 22 and Dope is not allowing any customer entry into the shop with service at its front door to comply with Coronavirus lockdown restrictions.

A post on the Dope Burger Facebook page said: "Big thank you to every one that’s been down to the Leeds store so far, and big thank you to all our dope friends old and new.

"You guys are the best."
