Exclusive food and drink deals for Leeds community with new Wellington Place app

The team at Wellington Place have launched an app for locals.

A new app aimed at a Leeds community and created by digital businesses working in the city has been launched.

The community app will provide a hub for Wellington Place residents as well as the wider community beyond the development, helping people come together over discounted dinners, drinks deals and community events.

Some of the development’s favourite independent drinking and dining establishments including Sociable Folk, Veeno and The Place, have signed up to offer rewards to the surrounding community, some of which are exclusive to Wellington Place occupier.

The app was designed by marketing and branding agency DS.Emotion with support from app developers Tyrell, both of which form part of the growing tech sector in the Leeds City Region. The app is available on the App Store and for Android as a free download.

Dominique Simcox, Head of Customer Experience at MEPC Wellington Place, said: “With so much going on in the development, we were keen for people to have access to everything in one place, ensuring they never miss out on the deals and events offered by retailers. After many months of planning, it’s great to see our vision come to life.”
