A post on the bar's Facebook page said: "After eight and a bit years we're sorry to let you all know that not only will we not be reopening on the 4th, we won't be reopening at all.

"We've had a good run and we've had an absolute blast, but the time has come to call it a night for us.

"We want to thank sincerely every person who came and partied with us over the years, the bands that rocked the boneyard, and anyone who didn't get thrown out.

"To all our wonderful staff - too many to list here - I want to thank you for all your hard work and for the fun we had together.

"These have been the best years of my life. So that's that."

Many pubs and bars in Leeds opened up again on Saturday, though others are choosing to open during this week.
