£9m funding for Red's chain
A Leeds-based restaurant chain is set to open up to 10 new branches after securing £9m of funding.
Red’s True Barbecue opened in Leeds in 2012 and now also has outlets in Headingley, Liverpool, Nottingham, Manchester and London.
The company has plans to expand further nationally over the next two years and the new funding will allow it to open between eight and 10 new restaurants.
Law firm Bond Dickinson provided legal advice to Santander UK over the funding package, which follows £5m of investment in May last year.
