Turning Leeds pink with Candlelighter's charity projects

Jordan and Amy Harrison from Candlelighters prepare to turn Leeds pink.

Team Pink Gorilla were super happy to have started working closely with Candlelighters, a charity that helps children with cancer and their families and we have plenty of exciting things in the pipeline with this incredible charity.

The Big Pink Paperclip Challenge has already begun, and if your company isn’t yet involved, then what are you waiting for?

We’re asking businesses across Leeds and the rest of Yorkshire to join in the fun, by swapping a giant pink paperclip for a prize that Candlelighters can raffle or auction to raise funds to help support Yorkshire kids (and their families) who are battling the disease.

You’ll be competing against other companies to find out who can swap the biggest and best prizes, so you’ll need to come together as a team to smash this.

Candlelighters, which is based in the city centre, will be awarding businesses for innovation, teamwork and most ingenious use of social media, so get your thinking caps on and prepare to raise your game.

Donations so far have been outstanding, and action prizes so far include a VIP corporate box from the lovely folks at Leeds Arena.

We’ll also be raising awareness and spreading the love later on this summer, when we paint the city of Leeds in our favourite colour - pink.

Follow us on social media to find out more about this awesome campaign, and join us in raising some money for this worthy cause whilst having some fun.
