JESS GLYNNE'S track record is impressive, to say the least, and she translates that pretty well live on stage too.

The 29-year-old north Londoner has more number ones (seven) than any other British female solo artist, albeit four of them have come as a featured artist on other groups’ tracks.

She recently notched up a second UK number one album while receiving admiring glances from the US market.

Here on a filthy night in Leeds, there was no doubting the quality of her voice on tracks such as Hold My Hand, Rudimental’s These Days, which features Glynne and US rapper Macklemore, Ain’t Got Far To Go, Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself and Real Love/Rather Be.

Ably supported by a superb group of backing singers, there was no shortage of crowd-pleasers as Glynne’s soulful vocals underlined her talent for penning catchy tunes which are just so easy to listen to.

She clearly cares passionately about what she does and is eager to acknowledge the support of her adoring fans.

Similar to Celine Dion, Glynne speaks about her emotions, realising her dreams and personal life – the affection between her and the crowd is mutual.

And with good reason.
