Cosying up with a box set or film has been a cherished past time in a year when leaving the home has been restricted.

Peaky Blinders (2019) – Netflix

Filmed in Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield and various other locations throughout the years after investment from Screen Yorkshire, this family gang drama has become popular across the globe.

Ackley Bridge (2019) – C4

Now two series in, this show focuses on the lives of staff and students at an which has been created through a merger of segregated white and Asian schools.

Brad Boyz (2019) – C4

Four childhood pals living in a city reputedly split along racial lines begin college together in this comedy filmed in Little Germany, the University of Bradford and Bradford College.

The Innocents (2018) – Netflix

York House, Ilkley Moor and Addingham feature in this supernatural love story about two teenagers.

The Limehouse Golem (2017) – Prime

Bill Nighy stars in this feature about a killer who stalks the streets of Victorian London, which features Keighley's Dalton Mills.

Gunpowder (2017) – Prime

Ilkley Moor and Kirkstall Abbey are among the Yorkshire gems seen in this recounting of the 1605 Gunpowder plot, centred around Robert Catesby (Kit Harington).

Utopia (2014) – Prime

Five strangers on an internet forum meet up when one of them claims to have an original manuscript of the unpublished second volume of a cult graphic novel which is rumoured to have predicted the worst disasters of the last century.

The Great Train Robbery (2013) – Prime

This two-part drama tells the story of the infamous August 1963 heist from the perspective of both cops and robbers, and Buttershaw and Shipley are among the locations where it filmed.

The Kings Speech (2011) – Netflix

Colin Firth stars as King George VI as he tries to overcome his stammering problem, and includes Odsal Stadium.

Wuthering Heights (1992) – Prime

One of many versions of the Bronte classic, Ralph Fiennes and Juliette Binoche appear in this rendition which filmed at East Riddlesden Hall in Keighley.

Minder (1991) – ITV

Bradford Forster Square station can be seen in this comedy drama about the exploits of a London conman and his bodyguard.

Room at the Top (1959) – Prime

Jack Clayton's classic about a young accountant schemes to marry a wealthy factory owner’s daughter, despite falling in love with a married older woman, was filmed in Bradford.
