Boss Jesse Marsch has made six changes to his Leeds United side for Sunday afternoon’s Premier League showdown against visiting Fulham for which Sam Greenwood starts and Tyler Adams is out injured.

Greenwood, Luke Ayling, captain Liam Cooper, Jack Harrison, Rodrigo and the fit again Pascal Struijk all start as Patrick Bamford, Junior Firpo, Crysencio Summerville, Diego Llorente and Rasmus Kristensen all drop to the bench.

USA international star Adams is missing from the match-day squad having suffered a small muscle injury but Leeds have been boosted by the return of Struijk. Struijk was forced to miss Thursday night’s clash at Leicester City having suffered a minor injury and Firpo consequently made his first start of the season at left back as Leeds suffered a 2-0 defeat.

But Struijk now returns to the side in which Greenwood makes just his second Premier League start and appears likely to replace Adams alongside Marc Roca in centre midfield. Rodrigo has been given the nod upfront and replaces Bamford whilst Harrison starts and comes back in for Summerville who is back on the bench having been preferred to Harrison at Leicester.

Cooper replaces Llorente at centre back whilst Ayling makes first start of the season in replacing Kristensen at right back. Illan Meslier also makes his 100th appearance for Leeds in goal. There is no place for young Italian international striker Willy Gnonto on the bench but Darko Gyabi is among the substitutes, as is keeper Joel Robles for the first time. Marsch has four players currently sidelined in Adam Forshaw (hernia surgery), Archie Gray (fractured toe), Leo Hjelde (appendectomy) and longer-term absentee Stuart Dallas (femoral fracture).

Fulham boss Marco Silva has made two changes to his side as Tosin Adarabioyo and Harry Wilson replace Issa Diop and Neeskens Kebano who both drop to the bench. Whites loanee Dan James is prevented from playing against his partent club due to the terms of his loan deal.

Kenny Tete (hamstring), Layvin Kurzawa (calf) and longer-term absentee Manor Solomon (knee) are out injured for the Cottagers and there is no place in the squad for Nathaniel Chalobah despite being back available after suspension.
