Brentford continued on their upward curve with Friday night's 1-0 victory at home to leaders West Brom which put the Bees third, one point above Fulham and only five points behind top two West Brom and Leeds, albeit having played a game more.
United and Fulham will now play their game in hand in Saturday's 3pm kick-off at Elland Road in which victory for Marcelo Bielsa's side would send the Whites three points clear in top spot and establish an eight-point cushion in the automatic promotion spots.

Hide AdDefeat for Leeds, though, would take Fulham back to third and just four points off the top two and leave just five points separating the top four with seven games left.
Victory for Scott Parker's Cottagers side would also see Brentford drop back down to fourth but Frank said that outcome would still be the ideal result in further tightening the race for automatic promotion.
Asked by Sky Sports who he wanted to win at Elland Road, Frank said: "I think if we win on Tuesday (at Reading) then that's the most important thing.
"But if you ask me, of course I think Fulham should win and then we have a really competitive last seven games of the season.
"But the only thing we can think about is the next game."

"I still think of course that West Brom are in a much better position than us and if I could be in that position then of course I would prefer that. But we are not."
