Man confirmed dead after being hit by train near Kirkstall Bridge
and live on Freeview channel 276
British Transport Police (BTP) were called to the line in Kirkstall at 4.53pm yesterday (Monday) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
Paramedics from the Yorkshire Ambulance Service were also called, but sadly a man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hide AdA BTP spokesman said: "This incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
Trains were disrupted on the network while emergency services dealt with the incident.
