Boots Kirkstall Robbery: Armed gang smash up perfume cabinets in front of terrified staff

It happened at about 6.30pm at the Boots store in Savins Mill Way, Kirkstall, on Wednesday, January 27.
Five masked suspects arrived at the scene in two cars.
One waited outside brandishing a knife.
The other four men, who armed with weapons including metal bars, entered the shop and smashed up perfume cabinets.

Hide AdThey then loaded a large quantity of stock into builders bags before driving off.
Officers are considering if there is any link to a similar robbery at the Boots store at Crown Point Retail Park on December 8.
Detective Inspector Mick Herbert, of Leeds District CID, said: “The store was open at the and this was obviously a distressing experience for staff and for the members of the public that witnessed the incident.
“We are carrying out extensive enquiries to identify those involved and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any part of the incident or who has any information that could assist the investigation.”
