This photo turns back the clock to July 1971 when 2,000 young people came out to hear eight hours of pop music in Nunroyd Park in Guiseley.
The eight groups that took part played for nothing except expenses.

Hide AdOne of the main attractions was Jan Dukes de Grey, a Leeds pop group who drove up specially for the concert from London. The progressive rock band, who had opened for Pink Floyd and The Who, were in the middle of recording their new album Mice And Rats In The Loft.
The concert raised money for the Save The Children Fund and was organised by pupils at Aireborough Grammar School, with the support of some of the staff.
