These photo memories celebrate life in Rothwell throughout 2002 - a year which featured a community coming out to play thanks to a series of fundraisers, festivals and celebrations. It was also a 12 months which included plans for a revamp of the town centre with a new Morrisons supermarket at its heart. Enjoy these images, plucked from the YEP archive, which charts the ups and downs as well as focusing on the stories which were making the local headlines. LOVE LEEDS? LOVE NOSTALGIA?
