Prop Ava Seumanufagai has been released from the final year of his Leeds Rhinos contract "for family reasons".

The 29-year-old New Zealand-born pack man joined Rhinos midway through 2019 from NRL side Cronulla Sharks and made 32 appearances, including in this year's Coral Challenge Cup win over Salford Red Devils at Wembley.

Rhinos have already effectively signed a replacement in New Zealand Test front-rower Zane Tetevano, but are now likely to look for another forward to bolster their squad.
