Head coach Jesse Marsch made one change to his side for Sunday’s hosting of league leaders Arsenal as Luis Sinisterra returned from suspension and replaced Patrick Bamford who dropped to the bench.
That meant another reshuffle as Rodrigo moved upfront but Bamford then Rodrigo at the half-time interval and Leeds then created a host of excellent chances which were all squandered against the Gunners.
Marsch then revealed a new injury blow at Wednesday’s pre-match press conference as the head coach announced that Pascal Struijk had picked up a small injury and would miss Thursday evening’s clash at the King Power.
Leeds have gone six games without a win and this is how we think they will line up for the 8.15pm kick-off against the Foxes.

2. RB - Rasmus Kristensen
Marsch was full of praise for Luke Ayling in his pre-match presser but Kristensen is the current first choice at right back. Photo: George Wood
3. CB - Liam Cooper
Leeds were pretty good defensively against the Gunners given the level of threat they posed and club captain Cooper and Robin Koch are starting to build a decent run of consecutive starts together at the heart of the back four. That looks the best defensive pairing at present. Photo: LINDSEY PARNABY
4. CB - Robin Koch
The German admitted in pre-season that he was aiming to cement down a spot in his natural centre-back position and his strong form is enabling him to do just that, keeping Diego Llorente on the bench. Photo: George Wood
5. LB - Junior Firpo
Marsch has already revealed that the fit again Firpo will return to the side to replace the injured Struijk at left back. Photo: NIGEL RODDIS
6. CM - Tyler Adams
A stellar summer signing and there is no debate about who lines up in the middle of the park at present to form the double pivot in front of the back four. Photo: Michael Regan
