Leeds couple ditched teaching and Asda careers to run chippy
Former Pudsey Grangefield High school maths teacher Alex Papaioannou and ex-Asda buyer Hannah Hall bought Graveleys fish and chip shop on Robin Lane last May.
They have spent thousands of pounds revamping the shop and takeaway and have recently re-opened under new name The Bearded Sailor after a two-week closure.

They were still novice fryers when Graveleys came in the top ten in the YEP Chippy The Year 2016 competition.
Mr Papaioannou, 33, said: “Our goal is to be the best in the country, we are just starting out.”
He added: “I miss helping kids get better at maths, but I love what I’m doing now. I much prefer the fish and chip industry. We have always both been big foodies and wanted to do something in the food industry. “
Miss Hall, 26, said: “We have both always loved fish and chips and we thought it would be a really fun industry to get involved in.”
