Robbers attacked Wakefield man in own home in front of family

Four men went into then house on Painthorpe Lane, Wakefield, at around 2.20pm on Tuesday.
They threatened and assaulted a 41-year-old man before stealing cash.

Hide AdThe victim’s family members witnessed the attack but were unharmed.
Police said the men then got into a four door black saloon vehicle and left the scene.
All four suspects are believed to be in their early 20s.
Det Insp Dave Rogerson, of Wakefield CID, said: “I believe this to have been a targeted attack and has clearly been very distressing for the victims.
“This incident has occurred in the early afternoon when there will have people going about their daily business and I am certain someone will have seen something.
